Relevant information may include:

  • Vehicle make and model

  • Manufacturing year

  • Engine code and engine capacity

  • Transmission type and gearbox code

  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

OEM Spare Parts will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in identifying compatible replacement components.

Customers should verify compatibility before installation. Where OEM Spare Parts expressly confirms compatibility based on information supplied, customers retain all applicable rights concerning incorrect or misrepresented products.

Our separate Shipping Policy provides further information regarding delivery arrangements and applicable charges.

7. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

OEM Spare Parts respects customer rights under the Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

Customers may request returns, refunds or exchanges in accordance with applicable legislation and our published Returns and Refunds Policy.

Incorrect or Defective Products

Where a product is defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or does not meet applicable quality requirements, customers may exercise their statutory rights.

Where section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act applies, qualifying defective goods may be returned within six months of delivery, with the customer entitled to elect repair, replacement or refund as provided by law.

Online Purchase Cooling-Off Period

For eligible electronic transactions, customers may cancel within seven days of receiving goods, subject to statutory exceptions.

Where the statutory cooling-off right applies, customers may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, as permitted by law.

Return Procedures

Customers should contact OEM Spare Parts before sending products back so that return instructions can be provided.

Returned products should be securely packaged to prevent further damage during transportation.

Refunds will be processed within applicable legal timeframes using an appropriate payment method.

Any voluntary return conditions beyond statutory rights will be explained in our separate Returns and Refunds Policy.

8. Product Warranties

OEM Spare Parts recognises the importance of reliable automotive components and clear warranty information.

  • Product-specific warranties will be stated in the relevant product listing or sales documentation.

  • Warranty coverage and duration depend on the warranty offered for the purchased product.

  • Any additional supplier or manufacturer warranty will be honoured according to its lawful terms.

  • Warranty claims may require proof of purchase and supporting information about the reported fault.

  • Professional installation is recommended for complex automotive components.

Additional warranty terms do not replace or reduce applicable statutory consumer rights.

Damage caused by misuse, improper installation or unauthorised modifications may fall outside a voluntary warranty, where legally permitted.

9. Engine, Gearbox and Mechanical Component Purchases

Engines, gearboxes, transmissions and other major mechanical assemblies require appropriate handling and installation.

We recommend installation by suitably qualified automotive technicians.

Before installation, customers and installers should inspect the supplied assembly, verify the relevant specifications and follow appropriate installation procedures.

OEM Spare Parts is not responsible for damage directly caused by negligent installation, misuse or modifications unrelated to a product defect, subject to applicable law.

Customers retain all legal remedies for defective, incorrectly described or unsuitable goods where the supplier is legally responsible.

10. Order Cancellations

Customers may request order cancellations by contacting OEM Spare Parts.

Cancellation requests will be handled according to the order status, product type and applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where an order has already been dispatched, the relevant return procedures may apply.

Any cancellation charges will only be imposed where lawful, reasonable and properly disclosed.

Customers will receive refunds where required under applicable legislation.

15. Limitation of Liability

OEM Spare Parts takes reasonable steps to maintain accurate product information and dependable service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses directly caused by customer misuse, incorrect information supplied by customers, or unauthorised modifications.
